Description

The Parinacota is a 6330 m volcano with a crater in its summit. The viewpoint and the landscape reminds us of a sandy desert. The ground can be quite difficult to walk because we have to step forward many times to advance a few meters.

During the trip to Parinacota we can see vicuñas, alpacas, llamas and flamingos. And if we talk about the vegetation, we can see kenuas, native plants and paja brava.

I worked for several adventure tourism companies in Bolivia, guiding mountaineering, rock climbing, ski touring and ice climbing.

I love all the mountain activities, and travelled all along the Andes range, climbing peaks like Illampu, Chachacomani, Telata, Tiquimani, Sajama, Parinacota, Pisco in Peru and Aconcagua in Argentina.

I also did ascents in the Alps and in Australia.

I was trained in Chamonix by the French mountaineering school (ENSA).

I also worked as instructor in Bolivia’s guiding school, training new guides.
