Avoriaz ski touring and freeride skiing

Avoriaz is part of Les Portes du Soleil, one of the major ski domains in the Alps. On this adventure, you will have the chance to enjoy either freeride skiing or ski touring in the area. 

Les Portes du Soleil (French for “The Gateway to the Sun”) is a huge ski area stretching from Mont Blanc in France to Lake Geneva in Switzerland. It has thirteen ski resorts. The most modern one is Avoriaz, which offers easy access to a freeride area and ski touring.

For both options, we will use skins to reach wilder places. If you prefer freeriding, we will access the most beautiful off-piste runs from the lifts. We will find off-piste areas where you can enjoy powder with the safety of the pisted runs. If you are up for the ski touring experience, we will walk and climb far away from the crowd to find the best untracked terrain.

You can decide on the duration of the guided adventure. If you join us for more days, we can visit some of the other resorts of Les Portes du Soleil: Morzine, Chatel, Champéry, Les Crosets, and Morgins.
