Description

I invite you to join me on an exciting 2-day climb in the Pennine Alps. I will take you to the summit of two of the most popular 4000-meter peaks in this range: Breithorn (4164 m) and Allalinhorn (4027 m).

They are both technically easy. And we will enjoy amazing views of the surrounding glaciers and majestic peaks!

On the first day, we will take the cable car from the village of Saas Fee to the Mittelallalin (3456 m). From there, we will start our ascent to the Allalinhorn summit. Then, we will descend by the same route and drive to St.Niklaus to our hotel. Climbing up and down the mountain will take us about 4.5 hours.

Allalinhorn is a very popular mountain among climbers. It is regarded, together with Breithorn, as the easiest 4000-meter summit in the Alps. However, it is a real alpine climb and the ascent by the normal route goes along glaciated terrain.

Then, on the second day, we will take the cableway to the Klein Matterhorn (3883 m). We will enjoy a beautiful ascent and get to the Breithorn summit! After that, we will descend to the Klein Matterhorn mountain station. It will also take us about 4.5 hours.

The Breithorn ascent is also a snow and glacier route. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable climb and it offers spectacular views from the summit.

So contact me if you want to join me on this great climb! I will be happy to guide you up there. Also, you can join me on a 5-day hut to hut tour in Bishorn, in the Pennine Alps.

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
