Description

Alpamayo is an amazing mountain located in The Cordillera Blanca (White Mountain Range) of The Peruvian Andes and reaches an altitude of 5.947 meters. Its shape will remind you to a rocky pyramid with a mixture colors between white and shinny blue. That’s why Alpamayo is considered as “the most beautiful mountain of the world” since 1966. It will be a 11-day hiking adventure around this awesome mountain, that you cannot miss. Once in its best viewpoint we can admire a sunset in Cañon del Pato, the exact place where Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra meet up.

These 11 days will be very different one from the other, but in each of them we will be able to admire Peruvian flora and fauna (such as sheep and alpacas) and share magical moments with their traditional tribes. Now, check out the following itinerary of this Alpamayo trip and make up your mind!

Our guide, Quique. was top notch. I have used guides all over the world and he stands out in his knowledge, professionalism and kindness. I hope to try and use him in the future. In the mountains, one must adjust to changing conditions and he did so quickly and competently. Besides being one of the nicest people I have ever met, his skills in the mountains cannot be doubted.
