Description

Join me for a day of rock climbing outside of Marrakech. You can fit it perfectly around your Moroccan vacation! Just a short drive outside Marrakech, you’ll find yourself in the High Atlas mountains or the Moroccan countryside with a great day of climbing ahead.

You can choose to climb the picturesque Ain Belmusk or the beautifully hidden Zuhelika. Both will allow you to discover quiet Moroccan villages outside the tourist circuit. Or, if you’re more into the high mountains, you could opt for Oukaimeden and enjoy the stunning views.

The areas outside of Marrakech offer a great variety of terrain. It is suitable for both beginners and advanced climbers. Oukaimeden, for example, is an excellent venue for those who have never climbed before. Meanwhile, there are also multiple routes for those who want to push themselves a little harder on more complex and challenging terrain.

We can adjust where we go and the climbs you do based on your background, experience, and expectations. We also provide all the climbing gear you’ll need for the day of climbing.

I offer this program from March to May and from September to November. Please note that it is generally too hot in July and August although there is one area in the mountains where it is possible to climb in the mornings so there could be a possibility to offer this. Normally a half day of climbing is sufficient as the afternoons can get hot and it then gets in the sun too much.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
