I offer this wonderful ski program from La Rosiere or La Thuile in the beautiful virgin and scarcely descending slopes of Valgrisenche, Italy.
This program is given as an indication. We can of course adapt it, both in terms of duration and location. I know the region very well.
DAY 1
We start from La Rosiere by mechanical lifts and descent to the Petit Saint Bernard pass. From there we take the helicopter which will take us to the top of Mont Miravidi or Ouiller (depending on the snow quality ). Then we descend to La Thuile Valley to go by helicopter to the Ruiter glacier.
We will descend to the village of Bonne in the Valgrisenche Valley, where we’ll spend the night at the Hotel Perret (boutique hotel at 100 meters from the DZ helicopter. Simple but very nice and authentic, excellent Italian food !!)
DAY 2:
After breakfast, we will go up by helicopter from the Valgrisenche base (100 meters from the hotel Perret). It will drop us off on the Giasson glacier, to descent to Valgrisenche valley. Then the helicopter will pick us up and drop us off at the Archeboc summit, which we will descend skiing to get to Sainte Foy Tarentaise.
These helicopter drop off proposals are indicative and may be different depending on weather and “snow” safety conditions.
We can also do only off-piste skiing from the ski lifts or ski touring, to try something different.
If this kind of little ski adventure interests you, I invite you to contact me. I’d be happy to help you to discover this region that I know so well and lead you to my little ‘secret’ places

We got a guide for backcountry skiing in Chamonix. The guide was excellent in fulfilling our wishes even though the viability was poor and snow layer thin. Our goals was to in a quiet nature area with not too many people. We ended up with 1000 meter gain and a ski through the forest over a 6 hour period. I was one of my best ski experiences.

We had an amazing experience with Leo. Not only did he take us to a great bouldering location, but he really helped with technique to use for our future climbs. He was able to accommodate harder climbs for my husband while making sure I was still able to climb as a beginner. It was also extra special climbing with a local. Would recommend!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
