Welcome to the trip you have been looking for! An awesome ski tour in Lesachtal, in the Austrian state of Carinthia.

Let me invite you to these 5 days of pure ski touring. During this trip, you’ll have the opportunity of ascending through deep snow-covered valleys and ski touring on the amazing slopes of the Karnische Alps and the Lienz Dolomites.

I love taking my clients to Lesachtal because it is one of the most unspoiled valleys of Europe. In fact, you will notice that the calm and energy of nature will work on you.

Regarding the safety equipment, it can be borrowed for a fee and on request. In addition, remember to bring your own ski touring equipment, suitable clothes and a small backpack.

Itinerary

Day 1: GETTING READY

Welcome meeting. Equipment check. Avalanche report and reading of snow conditions. Tour planning for the next days.

Day 2 to 4: SKI TOURING DAYS ACCORDING TO SNOW CONDITIONS

After breakfast, we’ll move to the starting point of the ski tour and enjoy the best alpine slopes (always adapted to the weather and snow conditions).

Day 5: LAST DAY

After the last ski touring day, we will enjoy a cozy coffee at about 15 pm in the lodge and you’ll go back home.

Mountain Guide

I’m a IFMGA certified mountain guide and a nature lover. I was born in 1983 and I studied Cultural and social anthropology at the Vienna University.

Mountains, water, cultures have been always my passion. That’s why I’m a mountain, ski, canyoning and rafting guide, also a ski instructor and a snowboard enthusiast.

Helene and myself are the owners of the Hepi lodge. A space for mountaineers, climbers, skiing enthusiasts where besides offering the accommodation service we proposed varied programmes of different activities: rock climbing, ski touring, canyoning, hiking tours.

I guide most of my time in Lesachtal Valley: St Lorenzen, St Jakob, Birnbaum, Karnische Alps and Lienz Dolomites.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
