Description

St. Niklaus is a Swiss commune in the Canton of Valais. Along with its nearby communes, they offer amazing ski touring options during the winter.

On the other hand, Grachen is another very interesting spot in Valais, where we can enjoy a day of skiing with great conditions. It is just southwest of St. Niklaus.

I love inviting my friends and also my clients to visit this area. Therefore, I want to propose you some ski mountaineering options in St. Niklaus and Grachen. Please find below some of the best one-day programs I offer.

PLATTHORN (3246 M)

From the Seetalhorn Station, we will depart towards Eisten or Gasenried. It will be a 1.5-hour ascent. I will lead a group of no more than 3 participants. Price: 180 CHF per person.

ROTHORN / JUNGPASS (2990 M)

Lonely and wild ski tour through the beautiful Jung valley. The ascent will take around 5 hours. Then, once at 2990m, we can seek out the best lines to ski down. I can also guide up to 3 people. Price: 200 CHF per person.

I guide these programs from February to April. It’s the best season to enjoy winter activities in the Alps. That’s why I also offer many other one-day programs, like these ski tours in Saas Fee.

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
