Steep Skiing Clinic in Blackcomb

In this 2 days program we will introduce to the best of steep skiing in the great terrain of Blackcomb.

Discover the insane steeps of Whistler Blackcomb, and the best of your skills. We will go over the necessary steep skiing tactics and technical instruction, that mixed with our local knowledge will give an experience that you won’t find easily somewhere else.

After two days you will skiing down terrain with skills you didn’t even know you had.

Skiers are placed in small groups of similar ability, combined with a serious amount of vertical, guaranteed improvement, tired legs, make for an unforgettable ski experience.

Itinerary:

DAY 1

8:30 Meet outside on the deck of Essentially Blackcomb, in the Carleton Lodge, in the main village between the gondolas.
8:45 Warm up runs on Whistler. Guided coaching, introduction to the steeps. Priming your legs for the goods.
11:45 Lunch at the Round House Restaurant
12:30 Video analysis run
2:30 Introduction to the steeps until last chair

DAY 2

8:30 Meet at the same place as Day 1. Go time.
8:45 Switch to Blackcomb – more to explore. Guided coaching focusing on technique in the steeps.
10:00 Viewing & analysis of video
11:45 Lunch at Glacier Creek
12:15 More technique in the steeps, more good times.
3:30 Beer and nacho decompression session at Merlin’s Bar & Grill at base of Blackcomb
