Description

In Bulgarian, Tevno ezero means the dark lake. This is one the most majestic sites in the Pirin mountains.

We will sleep at the Tevno ezero mountain hut, which sits by the lake, on its eastern shore, at 2550m. The surrounding jagged peaks make it a postcard-like scenery. One of the highlights of the trip is the hike to the Kamenitza peak (2822m). Indeed, the views from here are breathtaking!

Itinerary

Day 1: Tevno Ezero hut

Transfer to Goce Delchev hut. Hike to Tevno Ezero hut and overnight in the hut.

Day 2: Kamenitza

Early start and hike to Kamenitza peak (2822m). Transfer back in the late afternoon.

The transfers calculated in the price are from Sofia and back. As for the equipment, you only need to bring hiking boots and appropriate clothes.
