Most of India’s mountain related outdoor activities are centered along the country’s north, in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. Here, you can go for a month-long trek through the mountains and valleys, while still only seeing a tiny fraction of the region!
But beyond the mountains, there is so much to see on the subcontinent! Mumbai is a diverse and rapidly growing cosmopolitan hub. Goa, in eastern India, has some of the best beaches around. There are tropical rainforests and vast stretches of desert too.
Most guided trips will begin with a brief meeting in the capital, New Delhi. But either before or after your trip, take some time to explore this huge and diverse country. You’ll surely be enamored by the lovely landscapes and friendly people.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures!
