Descubre la magia de la Patagonia en esta excursión de un día a Cerro Portillo, en Ushuaia.

Ushuaia es la ciudad capital de la provincia argentina de Tierra del Fuego. Ubicado al noreste de la ciudad, Cerro Portillo ofrece grandes opciones para hacer trekking. Aquí es donde se llevará a cabo nuestro programa.

Nos encontraremos en Ushuaia a las 8 am para disfrutar de un día completo de trekking. Ten en cuenta que la ascensión requiere paciencia y determinación. Puedes esperar encontrar obstáculos en tu camino. Es importante tener una muy buena condición física para que puedas disfrutar plenamente de la aventura y sus paisajes.

Después de atravesar el hermoso bosque patagónico finalmente alcanzaremos la cumbre de Cerro Portillo, desde donde podremos ver los impresionantes paisajes de los famosos 'Andes Fueguinos', el extremo más austral de la cordillera de los Andes.

Los montes La Mano y Olivia, el Canal Beagle y la Bahía de Ushuaia serán otros puntos asombrosos que admiraremos desde la cima de Cerro Portillo. La duración de este viaje es de 8 horas. Regresaremos alrededor de las 4 pm.

Due to events outside of our control, our trip has to be modified, Gabriel was very flexible and understanding. Together with the guide Manuel, we managed to create an amazing trip in this stunning environment. Gabriel was a terrific guide for Cinco Hermanos, which provides amazing views of Ushuaia and the surrounding mountain ridges and valleys. After a pleasant trail through the forest, you cross the main creek and ascend the benches below the peaks. After that we enjoyed terrific alpine climbing with steep snow, sometimes greater than 50 degrees. Route finding was a bit challenging, and the selection of the right gulley can greatly determine which hermano you are climbing. We ultimately summitted Hermano Cinco. Ghanks to Gabriel for sharing so much information about the mountains and culture of the region.

I came here at the end of Winter, so it was still snowing and the lake was unfortunately frozen with snow on top. However, the hike had amazing views with a very knowledgeable Guide. Pick up was on time and all information was given to me as needed. Highly recommend.
