Transitando el terreno alpino más espectacular alrededor de Bariloche, esta expedición ofrece una mezcla entre descensos pronunciados y paisaje salvaje. Siente el ambiente rústico en el refugio de montaña local y mítico de Frey.
Bariloche está cerca, por lo que también tendrás acceso a muchas de las atracciones características de la Patagonia argentina: asado, chocolate y anfitriones amigables.
El programa de esquí de travesía incluye:
– Servicio completo de guía de montaña UIAGM durante todo el viaje
– Transporte privado desde el pueblo hasta la montaña
– Boletos de pase para esquiar el 2do día en camino a Frey

Acerca del terreno
Dependiendo de las condiciones del terreno, el itinerario puede cambiar. No es un terreno recomendado para principiantes. Siempre es una buena opción informarse primero sobre el clima y la nieve preguntando a guías locales y consultando el pronóstico y los boletines de avalanchas locales.

Guía de Montaña
I was born in a very remote area of northern Argentina which gave me a special appreciation for the outdoors. When I was 16 my family moved south, closer to the mountains, and I started to climb in the Andes. I've been mountaineering – trekking and climbing – ever since.
I've traveled and climbed throughout Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, the USA, Canada and Europe. I spent two summer seasons working in Aosta, Italy where I completed numerous ascents and climbing on the area.
At some point in my younger years, my career path steered me to the telecommunications industry, scaling towers and fixing cellular systems. But the mountains were never far away and I eventually returned to my roots and become a mountain guide since 2001.
In the winter I focus on being a ski guide around the mountain range and also the volcanoes, this is how I spend part of my time on the winter seasons as well as teaching backcountry ski and avalanche awareness courses.

My husband and I have been on many incredible hikes all over Argentina with Lucas as our Guide. He has taken us to the most phenomenal places and pushed us (willingly) to our limits whilst at the same time always feeling very safe knowing that he is such an expert and highly qualified mountaineer. We have crossed glaciers wearing crampons as the sun rises, we have climbed volcanoes that we thought would never be physically possible, and Lucas has been fun and entertaining along the way. He jas great judgement - the tripas are planned and amended along the way in order that you can totally disconnect from everyday life.
