Este trekking de invierno al Monte Toubkal ofrece una emocionante ascensión y vistas espectaculares de las Montañas del Atlas cubiertas de nieve en Marruecos. ¡Así que ven y únete a nosotros en esta aventura de 3 días inolvidable!

Ubicado en el Parque Nacional Toubkal, Monte Toubkal (4,167 m) es el pico más alto no solo de Marruecos sino de todo el Norte de África. Se encuentra a 63 km de la popular ciudad de Marrakech y definitivamente se encuentra en la lista de muchos montañistas.

Normalmente, el pico se puede ascender en 2 días, sin embargo, dado que estaremos haciendo senderismo sobre nieve en invierno y usaríamos crampones y piolets, es mejor ir despacio y terminar el trekking en 3 días.

Comenzaremos el viaje en Marrakech y te llevaremos al hermoso pueblo de Imlil para comenzar el trekking. Desde aquí, caminarás hacia el Refugio Toubkal, pasando por hermosos pueblos marroquíes y te quedarás a pasar la noche.

El próximo día te llevará a la cumbre del pico más alto de Marruecos. y ¡qué sensación sería! Vistas impresionantes del desierto africano y la icónica cadena del Atlas se desplegarán frente a tus ojos. Después, disfrutando de nuestro tiempo aquí, volveremos al refugio y luego regresaremos a Marrakech el último día, terminando este fantástico viaje.

Itinerario

Día 1: Imlil - Refugio Toubkal 3208m

Te recogeremos en Marrakech y conduciremos aproximadamente 64km para llegar a Imlil (1760m), donde conocerás al equipo y comenzarás el trekking hacia el Refugio Toubkal. Pasando por el pueblo de Aremd y el santuario de Shamharouch, haremos trekking durante unas buenas 5 horas para llegar al refugio y quedarnos a pasar la noche.

Día 2: Refugio - Cumbre Toubkal 4167m - Refugio Neltner

Después del desayuno, nos pondremos nuestros crampones y caminaremos todo el camino hacia arriba por +1000m para llegar a la cumbre más alta del norte de África, el Pico Toubkal (4167 m). La cima ofrece vistas increíbles del desierto y toda la Cadena Montañosa del Atlas. Luego, regresaremos al Refugio para pasar la noche. Tiempo: alrededor de 6 a 7 horas de caminata.

Día 3: Neltner - Imlil

Hay una opción de ascender otra cumbre alta si lo deseas. Si no, entonces caminaremos durante aproximadamente 4 horas para llegar a Imlil y partir hacia Marrakech. O también puedes pasar la noche aquí en nuestra casa de huéspedes.

I am the co-founder of the Mountain Travel Morocco (MTM) Trekking Company which is the first and only High Atlas Mountain-based trekking agency. For more than 20 years, we have been guiding visitors to discover the best parts of Morocco, exploring hidden cornes alongside the Berber people othe Moroccan High Atlas and the magical desert.

I speak English, French, Spanish and German. I am a fully certified mountain guide. I am a graduate of the Mountain Guides Training Center in Morocco (Centre de Formation Aux Metiers de Montagne CFAMM). We are also graduates from the Federation Royale de Ski et Montagne. Our company is registered at the Minister of Tourism with an official license.

Your safety is our number one priority. Our leaders and guides have undertaken the Wilderness First Aid Medical Course. They are competent to deal with any adverse situations during the tours. Our guides, porters and mule handlers are well paid, well fed and treated ethically.

We are ecologically aware and will not do anything to damage the beautiful environment of Morocco. We are also good listeners. Understanding people is an important skill in the High Atlas.

Our trip to the Atlas Mountains & summit of Toubkal was one of the best experiences of my partner and I’s lives. Mohammad the organiser was friendly, helpful and made us feel safe and at home. Jamal our guide was amazing. He ensured we made it to the top of the mountain whilst explaining local culture and history. We formed a strong bond and I was very sad to be leaving. As the weather was good and we made the summit and back in 2 days we had time to mountain bike through the valley for the third day, again with Jamal showing us the ropes and treating us to fresh mint tea. A truly unforgettable trip and we will certainly be back when we can. Thank you Mohammad, Jamal and the beautiful village of Imlil and it’s surroundings.

We had a fantastic three days organised meticulously by Mohamed and led by Hasan. Hiking up Toubkal was beautiful, and Hasan even took us up another peak too. The food and accomodation were exceptional and everyone was so friendly. I wouldn't hesitate t recommend and will definitely return!

Abdul was a fantastic guide and made the journey very enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about the area and made sure to keep a pace which was challenging but doable for all participants. Mohamed was an excellent cook as well and I always looked forward to his meals. The area was beautiful and the climb to Mt. Toubkal is certainly unforgettable. I'm very glad I choose this tour, especially at this price.
