Freeride skiing day trips in Passo Tonale, Adamello Range

Renzo was a lovely guide. We had a good day out and he was experienced. We would have liked a more calm pace though, some time to sit down, have a snack or a lunch in the fantastic environment. The pace was a bit fast for that.

Guided ski tours in Dolomiti Superski

Great guide who coped well with one of our party being ill. Paused the tour and arranged taxi transfer back to the hotel then continued to complete the Sellaronda. Great day despite the unfortunate illness and consequent delay.

3-day Ski mountaineering tour in the Fanes (Dolomites)

Renato was a superb guide who we were lucky to have. I have given 4 * for the overall tour as I would have wanted a local guide in an ideal world. Explore share provided a good service but ideally might have helped a little more at the early stages of planning where I was struggling to get information about the tour details.

Aosta Valley Guided Backcountry Skiing Trips

We had a great weekend skiing with Elis close to Valgrisenche. We stayed in a really nice mountain hotel from which lots of tours were accessible. Food and welcome was great. Elis is a great guide, kind and always cheerful, he makes sure you feel safe and have a great tour. Sun was out, snow wasn't amazing but then you're in Italy so ambiance makes up for it. Highly recommended!

Renato was a fantastic guide! He brought us to beautiful, challenging terrain. He adjusted our trip on the fly based on snow conditions to ensure it was the best experience possible. He calibrated for our experience and fitness in the routes that he selected. He took care of all the logistics seamlessly, giving us an authentic experience. And we really just enjoyed spending time with him!

3-day Ski mountaineering tour in the Fanes (Dolomites)

Renato went above and beyond in all aspects of this trip to the dolomites. this was my first ever ski-tour. through our correspondence renato guided me to a hotel and town i could stay at leading up to the ski-tour in order to hit some resort skiing between christmas and new year. he met me in the indoor-bouldering room in campitello, several days before the tour, so i had a chance to meet the person in whose hands i‘d be putting my life for three days! several locals approached me in the days after, and would tell me how renato had taught them how to climb and summit mountains. turns out renato is quite the local legend and that certainly helped me know my trust was in the in right place. renato helped me coordinate the refuge, and even paid a deposit for me to secure the spots. he lent me a lot of his own equipment for the tour, and showed me where i could rent a pair of ski-touring skis for a single day solo-trial up val duron a few days before we started. he not only picked me up and drove me to the refuge but on the last day offered to drive me all the way to bolzano so could catch my train home in the most convenient manner possible. we summited two mountains, sasso delle dieci and col bechei si sopra, that’s no.2 and no.3 in my life. renato was patient, tremenously knowledgable, good humoured and encouraging, a fascinating storyteller, ever so kind and really looked after me. without me even asking him to, renato took some of the best photographs anyone’s ever taken of my in my life and shared them with me each day so i had a live diary on my strava account! i must say that without a doubt this has been the best holiday ever in my life - so much beauty, such interesting challenges and new accomplishments. i surely am the happiest debutant ski-tourer! renato is the most exemplary guide. i could not recommend him highly enough. thank you explore-share!

3-day Ski mountaineering tour in the Fanes (Dolomites)

Renato is a superb guide who adapts quickly to individual’s capabilities. We did several tours in the areas around Madonna de Campiglio. He is great at finding good snow, on safe terrain. He is also fun to ski with and has a great sense of humour- in English and several other languages, as well as Italian. Renato is one of the top guides in Europe. We recommend him with enthusiasm!

Freeride skiing day trips in Passo Tonale, Adamello Range

The tour to the Pisgana glacier was great, even though the snow conditions were icy & challenging. We’d definitely recommend Renzo, the guide, and the Explore Share website. The costs were v.competitive and an incentive to book. The only drawback was the website made it difficult to swop some details like email addresses (e.g. for sending photos). Anyway, we intend using the service & guide again next time we’re in Passo Tonale!

5-day Dolomites ski touring traverse

Etienne was our guide for 3 nights 4 days - he provided a fantastic few days which had bit everything, skinning, climbing, great powder, amazing views away from other groups. Etienne is very experienced and considered for his young age and I had total faith in his decisions and ideas. He created a safe but adventurous trip and catered for everyones needs. Also a great guy to spend time with in huts very easy going - but watch out he is a demon card player! Really enjoyed it, fully recommend him and would use him again.

Freeride skiing day trips in Passo Tonale, Adamello Range

We booked the "Freeride skiing day trips in Passo Tonale, Adamello Range" through Explore-Share.com The booking procedure was very easy and our mountain guide Renzo took us on 2 perfect freeriding days, finding untouched powder even after 1 week of last snowfall. If we go back to Passo Tonale for freeride skiing we would definetly go with Renzo again.

Aosta Valley Guided Backcountry Skiing Trips

We had a fantastic day with Elis doing ski touring in the Aosta Valley. He was easy-going, yet very professional, and had a good knowledge of the area. He made safe route choices on a day with considerable avalanche risk and shared some nice tips and tricks along the way. He was able to communicate well in both Italian, French and English. We would not hesitate with using him for future trips

Aosta Valley Guided Backcountry Skiing Trips

We had a very exciting trip in Valle d’Aosta with Elis. A first day of free-riding for warming up, followed by three days of ski-touring in the beautiful valleys between Courmayeur and Aosta… Being also in contact with other guides, Elis has been able to find the best spots considering the changing weather and the quality of the snow. He is always keen to share his knowledge of the mountain and of the Valle d’Aosta’s back-country, where he grew up. Also therefore, we had a lot of pleasure in sharing with him well deserved meals at very nice places he would recommend… I would highly recommend him for discovering this region.

Aosta Valley Guided Backcountry Skiing Trips

Val d'Aoste is such a fantastic destination for skitouring. Overlooked by many, it offers stunning valleys to explore as you pass one charming village after another up a mountain road. Elis was the perfect guide to explore his native backcountry: deep local knowledge allows him to make the best of any weather and snow conditions - and book the best table for a well-deserved recovery and some fine Italian pasta. He's a super nice, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide I would highly recommend

Aosta Valley Guided Backcountry Skiing Trips

Elis took us to various places around Aosta for four days. We had varying weather conditions and he was able to navigate those and get us to great snow every day even though there hadn't been a snow fall in 10 days. The routes were adjusted to the team's abilities and he took good care of us and the motivation of the troops, in particular in light of my fear of heights. Given his excellent knowledge of the region, Elis was spot on in his choices of places in terms of scenery, wilderness and isolation from any nuisance. He is also a fantastic companion with whom we enjoyed endless meals, espresso's and drinks. I'd highly recommend him.

Ski touring and freeride in Chamonix

Heliski-day Courmayeur Mont Blanc (2 flights)

Heliskiing in Courmayeur is just amazing. The sceneries were stunning, the snow was perfect, we were along in the middle of nowhere. Organisation was impeccable, with Ode taking care of us right from the beginning. We did not wait at all and helicopter picked us up immediately for the first ride. Alessandro the pilot was super kind and helpful. We did two drops on two neighboring glaciers, 5 minutes helicopter ride. Only thing is that the downhill could have been longer, but that is due to the fact that wind conditions were extreme and hence only limited choice of dropping areas. I highly recommend this trip!
