Considered a bridge between **America, Africa** and **Europe**, the **Canary Islands** are a **Spanish archipelago**. And over this trip, we will unveil the beauty of one of its most prominent islands: **La Palma**. So we’ll explore its network of **intriguing paths** and **mesmerizing trails**.

**La Palma** has an extensive territory with **varied types of terrain**. Hence we will live a **different adventure** every day.

We will walk around the **Natural Reserve of Las Nieves**, uncovering the most enchanting **forests of Canarias**. There, the sceneries that will surround us, will be simply hypnotizing, with clear skies above us, and a breathtaking sunset from the top of the **Pico de la Cruz Mountain**.

Also, we’ll visit **marvellous cliffs and hills**, that form part of the **National Park of Caldera de Taburiente**. Then, we will trek across the most impressive **volcanic craters** and **geological formations** at the **Cumbre Vieja natural reserve**. After which, we will hike through the dazzling **flats of Fuencaliente**.

Moreover, the weather in **La Palma** is warm and gentle all year round. The breeze from the ocean will accompany us all throughout our journey. And the abundance of trees and local flora will cover our paths with fresh scents and nice shades.

What’s more, we will get to visit **different villages**, and try the **local delicacies**, as well as experience the **hospitality** of the people that inhabit **La Palma**.

First we’ll arrive at Santa Cruz de la Palma. Then, we’ll transfer you to your hotel.

On this day we’ll visit the interior of a crater. Then, we’ll hike across deep cliffs and steep hills. Thereupon, we’ll cross the Gorge of las Angustias. And to end our day we’ll explore the Colours Waterfall.

On this day we’ll hike through the Natural Reserve of Tildes. Then, we’ll explore the Cordero River Springs. After that we’ll pass through different tunnels inside the rocks.

First we’ll trek across the Volcanoes Route until we reach the forest of Canary Pines. Thereupon, we’ll pass Birigoyo, Hoyo Negro, Nambroque, Duraznero and Deseadas.

On our fifth day we will walk around the Las Nieves Natural Park, crossing a laurel forest. After that, we’ll reach the Somada Alta. Finally we will arrive at Santa Cruz de la Palma.

The Crater of Taburiente offers a unique spectacle with its sea cloud. We’ll pass Roque de los Muchachos, heading towards Pico de la Cruz. And once we reach Pico de la Cruz, we’ll get to enjoy the best sunset on the island.

We’ll begin our day visiting the volcanoes of San Antonio and Teneguía. Then, we’ll head to the salt flats of Fuencaliente.  Finally, we’ll end our journey bathing in the ocean at Punta de Fuencaliente.

Magnificent tour of the Crestas de Taburiente, with views over the Caldera. The last hour of the trip we’ll descend by the old Camino Real that connected the east coast with the west.

This route is the geographical continuation of the previous one. We’ll cross a volcanic region with craters, lava flows and Pinus Canariensis.

##### An absolute gem in the Canary Islands, La Palma is a magnificent place to spend a week. And on this trip, which will last a total of 8 days, you will get to immerse yourself in a variety of aspects of this gorgeous place.

On this **hiking trip**, you will get to see incredible volcanoes like **San Antonio** and **Teneguia**. You will get to visit the sensational **Marcos y Cordero spring**. You will even get to visit the highest point of the island, the **Roque de los Muchachos (2,426m**). There is also the **Laurisilva forest of Los Tilos** and the **Fuencaliente salt farm**. And, of course, you will get to spend a **full day** trekking through and admiring the famed and incredible **Caldera de Taburiente national park**. Moreover, there is also an assortment of pine forests, volcanic landscape, and coastal area to trek through, not to mention a **tobacco farm**. Thus making this adventure in **La Palma** a trip that will be as interesting as it will be fun.

We will also be taking a day off from the hiking in the capital of **La Palma**, **Santa Cruz**. In **Santa Cruz**, you will get to check out the market, while admiring the old town’s collection of beautiful balconies.

We will be trekking from **3 to 6 hours per day** on this trip. As a result, you should be in **good physical condition**.

After being picked up at the airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and have a briefing about the trip to come.

Today we will walk for approximately 5 hours alongside a water channel and through the Los Tilos forest until we reach the Marcos y Cardero spring.

We will hike from El Pilar for approximately 6 hours through the island’s only tobacco farm, while also crossing the island’s array of volcanic craters and pine forest.

Today we will trek for approximately 5 hours through the Caldera de Taburiente national park.

For approximately 3 hours, we will trek around the Teneguia and San Antonio volcanoes and then visit the Fuencaliente salt farm. We will also enjoy a refreshing swim by the lighthouse on the coast.

Today we will explore Santa Cruz, the capital of La Palma.

We will drive to the highest point of the island, the Roque de los Muchachos (2,426m) and then descend to the Pico de las Nieves. The total hiking time will be approximately 5 hours.
