Despite providing details (age, height, experience) for all riders, we turned up and were told the two girls were too young/too small for the trek. This would have been better sorted out before we booked since we had driven some distance and paid in advance of the trek. We were eventually allowed to proceed, but the guide was not in the best of moods about it and no allowances were made, which did make it very difficult for the youngest one who ended up being scared on the unfamiliar mountain trail. On the plus side, the horses were fantastic and clearly very well trained and if you can speak French and know how to look after your own horses this would be a fantastic trek. Not so good with kids who don't speak French and if you don't know how to tack up! It would have been helpful to have known about these requirements / limitations before booking as we would have found something more suitable to do.

The trip was amazing. The climb especially. Not being used to horse riding it was quite exhausting but overall we were very satisfied with how the day went.

We had an amazing week with Tinatin, her team, and a huge herd of horses to drive to Vashlovani NP. Detail-focused and very well-organized trip. It was a really unforgettable adventure.
