Any trip to Iran is likely to begin with a flight into the international airport outside of Tehran (IKA). Once you’ve arrived there will be plenty of options to get to your final destination by either bus or train. Many guides also include transport in their trip packages.

During the winter, temperatures are quite cold in the mountains of Iran and average daily temperatures hover around freezing. Iran is overall quite an arid country, but does receives enough snowfall in the winter to cover the mountains.
In order to properly enjoy a backcountry skiing adventure in Iran, you should come for at least one or two weeks in order to get to the remote locales you’ll want to see and explore them.
