What People Say

Nikolay is an awesome guide who is clearly very experienced. We planned to climb+ride Todorka in late January but due
to snow storms and high winds we had to postpone the trip. However as soon as the conditions had improved and the avalanche risk was manageable Nikolay called me to say its game on for tomorrow if that works for me. We had an awesome day riding and I learnt so much from Nikolay about Avalanches, exposure and climbing. Would definitely recommend! Cheers!
I loved this trip! We had spectacular views of the moutains! The weather didn’t permit us to hike Triglav. We
got to see 4-5 other peaks with snowshoes. Talk about breathtaking! Mitja was wonderful guide. He was on time, funny stories, and you can tell he loves what he does, which hands down makes the trip that much wonderful! Highly reccomemnd him! I will be back to do Triglav!

Truly excellent guide, with unique knowledge of backcountry spots for freeride and touring. Extremely nice guy too.
Great for experienced backcountry ski/board tourers. Daisuke looked after us very well. We experienced some of the local culture
going to onsens and restaurants after a hard day on the snow. The yakitori stand at the end of the first day was a real treat.
Well planned and brilliant communication before had, Mitja would reply to emails quickly and would answer any questions that we
had. The walk was fantastic, deffinatly a challenge. Highly recommended.
The trip was awesome. Anastasiya organised for us a great mountaineering course in the Ala Archa Valley. All went super
fine.
Climbing Mt. Triglav with Mitja and Roks was a truly enjoyable experience for me that I would cherish forever. They
are extremely organized, helpful and full of humor that made the difficult journey to the top so easy. Even though I was the slowest in the group, they made sure that I reach safely to the destination and enjoy the trek thoroughly. Mitja’s repeated advice on being relaxed and not to think much over the hurdles on the path while trekking was one of the valuable takeaways. And I thank them thousand times for offering such a memorable trip in Triglav. For those who are thinking of climbing Mt. Triglav, I can reccommend Mitja and Roks anytime as guides to have a safe and comfortable journey.
Peaks Hunters were brilliant from the point of first contact.  They took care of every last detail from planning the
trip to providing all the mountaineering equipment.  On the mountain our guides were amazing.  Positive, confident, good company and with safety always at the fore front.  They set the pace and made sure as many of our group as possible hit the summit.  Thank you so much to the Silvia, Elis and the team.  Will definitely be using you again
Mitja is a well qualified expert guide, jbut more than that, he’s a good people-person and risk manager. While he’s
introducing you to the countryside during the steadily incling walk up the former glacier/Kemal valley, he’s also assessing each of the groups’ strengths and weaknesses, forming sub-groups based on the optimal mix and the weather conditions. Even though he does this twice a week in Summer, you can tell he loves his work and interacting with people. The when we’ve arrived at the 2000m hut, he switches into safety, security and risk manager mode behind the scenes to ensure the final 800m via-feratta ascent to the summit goes without a hitch and to ensure each ‘guest’ gets maximum outcomes. To do this he uses a team of guides (Rok, Igor, etc) who take 3/4 guests and rope you together for the final climb up Triglav. I have to say, while I have a fear of heights (yet I’ve parachuted and abseiled/respelled) and my butterflies and toes were tingling all the way up, I felt very safe and secure throughout. My grand daughter was also born that day so I yelled a welcome to the world message off the top of Triglav for her. What a great day on many levels. Thx Mitja and team
Really nice experience

Our guides Danijela and Ferdo were fantastic! We learned a lot of great tips from them on climbing technique. They
always kept safety first and were a lot of fun. We couldn’t have asked for better guides and would highly recommend them to anyone. Climbing in the park was awesome.
Leaving climbing Mt Triglav until late 50s and my nervousness about heights are both understatements. However at all times with
Mitja and his crew of expert full-time guides (Rok, Igor and another) I felt in highly experienced, safe and capable hands. We had perfect weather so walked to top hut near Triglav and summitted in one day. It was challenging, scary and highly rewarding. I was in a mixed age and abilities group of 13, some of whom were ill-prepared mentally (some delusional that they were going out for an easy two day Hill walk) and physically. But all made it to the top easily and triumphantly. Well done Mitja and guide crew. Thanks Ash
It was the first day with “autumn weather “ since summer started. Mitja tried his best to make the right
decision for us about when to go to the summit. We went the first day, unfortunately without a view from the summit but it was a good decision as the next day was very windy and freezing cold. Gloves, hat, poles were provided by Mitja. He us on a different way back so we would still have a great view almost similar to the one on the top, this route was amazing! Thanks Mitja It was super!
The trip was excellent. We met the owner of Peak Hunters and next time would preferably like to travel with
him. You all saved us and our trip and we are forever in your debt. We are already excited to book next years with you guys.
Sheena and Chris for Gran Paradiso 2 Day Guided Ascent
We only have really glowing things to say about the trip and our guides. They were a lot of fun,
and extremely knowledgeable. They adjusted the plan as we went to pick routes we’d like the best and had great feedback on continuing improvement.
Robert Buckland for Climbing Mount Triglav (2864m)
The trip was great, the guide the programme the team everything. Except for 1 thing: the clothes recommended in the
list of equipment was too hot for that season i felt like.
Great experience with very knowledgeable and friendly guides. Great atmosphere.
