We had a very good experience while hiking in Hakone. Our tour guide, Shin Kaneko, was very helpful and informative
during our trip, Looking forward to the next hiking trip
We had an excellent time hiking up to the summit of Mt Kurodake. Jun gave us a good intro to
the flora and fauna on the way up and regaled us with stories all the way up. He set a pace suitable for us and ensured our safety throughout. Jun comes highly recommended!
We had a great time with Jun and Aki. They were enthusiastic, organised, they too care of us in terms
of food, safety, equipment, etc, and they shared their knowledge about Yakushima nature. The activities were fun. I recommend them. By the way they both had a very good level of English. And Aki even spoke very good French.
Our guide was fantastic! She was a total professional! We had a wonderful time. Would recommend her
for others.
Unfortunately, due to illness we were not able to do the trekking tour. But communication with the trekkers has always
been uncomplicated. After my cancellation, we stayed in contact with the guide, who even helped me to get a refund. We will definitely do the trekking tour next time we’re in Japan.
As for Kikuo-san, we both really liked her.  She is very pleasant.  A bit quiet spoken in a good way.
She obviously knows the Akan region very well, as she lives inside the national park.  She has very responsible and well organised.  I would have her guide us again, when we go back to the area.
