Would you like to take part in a hiking and swimming program in the stunning Mediterranean? Then come with me on this tour in Crete and discover the nature and culture of the biggest island in Greece.

I invite you to enjoy a whole week exploring the natural and historical sites in Crete. One of the main attractions of this program will be to hike around different gorges, such as **Aradena**, **Agia Eirini** and **Samaria**. These gorges are situated in the western side of the island, in the region of Chania. Also, we’ll explore the **Omalos** plateau, **Mount Gigilos** and the **Marmara beach**. In addition, we’ll have the chance to visit the cities of **Rethymno** and **Chania**.

If you don’t have lots of hiking experience, you don’t need to worry. The hikes on this programs are **easy** and we’ll be constantly combining them with swimming. Our hikes will have a duration of around **3-6 hours** each day of the program. As for the accommodation, we’ll spend the nights in lodges and hotels. At the bottom of the page, you can take a look at a more detailed description of the itinerary.

Arrival to Heraklion and transfer

We’ll drive to the city of Rethymno and explore its beautiful streets. Then, we’ll go to the village of Vrysses and have lunch. We’ll continue to Chora Skafion and then hike to the Loutro beach, where we’ll enjoy swimming. Accommodation in Loutro.

On this day, we’ll visit the Aradena gorge and the Marmara beach. Here, we’ll have the chance to see some of the local animals and to enjoy swimming. Night in Loutro.

On day 4, we’ll sail to the Agios Pavlos beach and then continue to Agia Roumeli, where we’ll spend the night.

On this day, we’ll explore the Samaria gorge and enjoy hiking for around 6 hours through a beautiful natural area.

We’ll go to the Agia Eirini gorge and get to the village of Sougia, which offers us an amazing view from the sea. We’ll enjoy swimming and then continue our hike to Lissos, where we’ll visit an amazing ancient sanctuary. Finally, we’ll drive to Omalos.

Day 7 will be the day of Mount Gigilos from where we’ll contemplate an amazing panorama and then head to Chania. Here, we’ll visit some of the city’s main points of interest and then return to Heraklion. Night in a hotel.

This **6-day tour in the Queyras Regional Park**  is an exceptional opportunity. You’ll trek around the **French Alps**, with the comfort of staying in a hotel or inn.

The **Queyras** is a valley in the **French Alps**, one of the most breathtaking areas in the world. Trekking around the Alps is a unique experience. La Monta (1660 m) – La Médille ( 1995 m)

We’ll arrive to the Raux and walk through the corss of Curlet. The views of Saint Verán are amazing from this point. And when you walk over this lovely village you’ll understand why is one of the highlights of this trip.

We’ll walk through Clapeyto, and arrive to a charming small plateu. The area looks like it was taken out of a postcard.

This day we’ll cross a bridge on the Aigue Agnelle and reach the Prés Fromage, and the Bûcher summit.

The **Queyras Regional Nature Park** covers an area of **650 km2**. This beautiful land is the perfect setting for this **7-day Queyras guided trek**.

On our first day we’ll take a gentle stroll. The **Fromage Pass (2301m)**  will lead us to **Ceillac** and the **Fint Sancte Channler**. Then, I will lead you to the **Estronque pass**, where you will have an incomparable view over the **Aigues Agnelle**. 

We will also visit the intriguing remains of **copper mines (2300m).** After which, we will trek to the **Pass of the black (2955m)** and then cross the **Tête des Toillies (3000m).** Later, a splendid path will lead us to the village of **Chianele**, a gem in the Piedmont.

The next day we’ll walk towards **Mont Viso**, the highest summit in the **Alps**. We will cross **Passo de la Losetta (2872m)**. Furthermore, you’ll have the option to climb **Punta Lozetta (3052m)**, to get an exceptional view of **Mont Viso (3840m)**. We’ll then descend to **Passo di Vallanta (2815m)**, where, if we are lucky, we’ll spot some ibexes.

We’ll also reach **High Guil**, another fascinating natural reserve in the area. Additionally, you’ll get to see **Lake Lestio (2510m)** and  **Laus Mézan (middle lake)**. Finally, to conclude our trek, we’ll cross **Péas pass (2629m)** and **Créche pass**.

Thus, you will be staying in **Gites**, a furnished and equipped holiday home in France, and a comfortable mountain hut. This day we’ll begin with a short car tranfer to a copper mine. We’ll walk to the Pass of the Black, reach the Tête des Toillies and arrive to Chianale.

Saint-Véran to Chianale, Italy

I’ll guide you to Mont Viso. We’ll cross Passo de la Losetta, with the option to climb Punta Lozetta. We’ll descend to Passo di Vallanta and reach High Guil-Viso.

On this day we will walk through beautiful hidden trails and intriguing unknown passes until we reach the Italian border. We’ll pass through Ristolas and arrive to Abries.

You’ll have the chance to admire the lakes Grand Laus Laus Mézan (middle lake)

We’ll cross the Péas pass (2629m) at the foot of the Rochebrune pic, until we go through the Créche pass. We’ll conclude our hike at hotel “Le Guilazur”

7-day Queyras guided trek in Gites

Get ready to hike the impressive **GR20** in **Corsica, France**, one of the best hiking routes in the world. This incredible altitude trail crosses the whole island from Northwest to Southeast. On this fantastic week, we’ll cover the South stretch of this route and enjoy the breathtaking views it has to offer.

We’ll meet at the **Ajaccio** ferry terminal to begin this unforgettable week. Although the South side is less steep and demanding than the North side, it is still challenging and respected among hikers around the world. Mountain landscapes and forests and views of the island’s beautiful peaks will be part of the picture. We’ll visit dazzling places such as **Bavella, Croci, Cozzano, Capanelle** and many others. Keep in mind that depending on the time of the year there may be a large influx of tourists. Therefore, we may decide to tackle the route in the inverse order. Furthermore, there’s also the option to continue on the GR20 North once this section is completed.

You will need to be in excellent physical shape for this trip since we’ll be walking for at least 5 hours every day with differences in elevation of 1,000 meters per day. Additionally, there are many steep climbs and some difficult terrains. If you have mountaineering experience, you will benefit even more!

We’ll meet at the Ajaccio ferry terminal and take a bus to our accommodation at the Bavella Pass. We’ll have a briefing of the adventure.

Hiking begins. We’ll go from the Bavella Pass towards the balcony at the foot of the Aiguilles de Bavella. Then, we’ll enter the Asinao valley and descend to the Cuscione plateau.

On this day, we’ll hike through beech trees and acquire stunning views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Upper Taravo villages. We’ll descend to Cozzano.

Croci - Cozzano

The route we’ll take this day follows the ridge that separates Fiumorbu from Upper Taravo. We’ll pass by Punta Capella and reach Col de Verde. We’ll continue walking towards Bocca d’Oro, with impressive views of Monte Renoso, the ponds of Diana, Urbinu and Palu, and the Elba and Monte Cristo islands.

Cozzano - Verde Pass

We’ll mostly have an easy hike along pine and beech trails.

Verde Pass- Capanelle

We’ll mostly hike through forests. Once we reach Bocca Palmente, we’ll be able to enjoy views of Monte d’Oro, Rotondu and the Ghisoni forest.
