**Join me in this incredible adventure at Bow Yoho in the Canadian Rockies!**

During this 5-day ski traverse we will cross the famous **Wapta Ice field** and **Yoho glaciers**, that divide Alberta and British Columbia in the Canadian Rockies. It is a unique option to discover the impressive Wapta ice field.

I particularly recommend this program because it is one of the easiest ways to access some of the most remote spots in the Rockies. Furthermore, it is comfortable because we'll sleep in huts, so you'll only need to carry a day pack. This is a great advantage compared to most tours in the region that require tents.

This tour will start by travelling to **Bow Lake**. Then, we'll be skiing for 5 days. It is a big circle with majestic views.

We'll be very close to the town of Field and Emerald Lake, and also close to Lake Louise.

The best season to visit this area is spring, because days are longer and there's less risk of avalanches.

This program is available for intermediate and advanced skiers with some ski touring experience and good physical condition.

Both mountain hut, Bow Hut and Stanley Mitchell Hut, are from the Alpine Club of Canada.

First, we’ll meet in **Lake Louise** at the **Alpine Center**, get organized and go to **Bow Lake** to start the adventure.

Afterwards, we’ll go through a 1 hour avalanche rescue exercise.

Over the next 3-4 hours we will ascend up to **Bow Hut** for the first night.

We’ll wake up early and ski across the **Wapta Ice field** to the **Yoho Glacier** and the high lands of **Mt Collie**.

This leads us to a great ski run down to the D**es Poilus glacier** and down to the **Des Poilus Hut.**

We will ascend the **Isolated Col** and enjoy an excellent ski descent to the Stanley Mitchel Hut.

You’ll have the opportunity to ski **Mt Mc Aurther** (3015 m), and incredible glaciated ski descents.

We will spend this day skiing along the **Little Yoho Valley** with great and important ski mountaineering objectives, close to the Presidents (3140 m).

During the last day, we will make our way along the Ice line trail traversing the full length of the Presidents and head into Yoho Pass which, finally,  takes us to **Emerald Lake** which will mark the end of a great adventure!

**We'll enjoy a rock climbing trip in one of the most famous areas in Canada. The Bugaboos are a mountain range of the Purcell Mountains, in British Columbia.**

I really like this area because the climbing quality is great due to good granite rock. The place offers many options for intermediate climbers and also for more professional climbers. Alpine snow and ice, moderate multi-pitch rock routes and big walls, are some of the possibilities.

We will start hiking in the **Bugaboos Provincial Park** towards **Conrad Kain Hut.** This hut is maintained by the Alpine Club of Canada. We can also go to **Apple Bee** alpine campsite.

Three days of Deep December Powder, what a great Christmas present! Rogers Pass is renowned for its huge snowfall and cold deep powder skiing and in late December it can be waist-deep! Based out of Golden B.C. This is an ideal trip for intermediate to strong skiers who like to ski a lot!

Rogers Pass is located just east of Revelstoke. It is a truly epic location for ski and snowboard touring. In fact, it has quick access to a variety of terrain which works for all abilities and weather conditions.

Rogers Pass is a top spot in North America to powder ski. Also, the access is very quick so it is easy to get there. Besides, the ski runs are long, rendering the descents amazing. The amazing powder and snowfalls in this area have made Roger Pass famous among winter sports enthusiasts.

Plan to meet the group in Golden at the Kicking Horse River Lodge on the morning of December 26th, the group will sign waivers then head out to the pass.

There will be a companion rescue training exercise to review the use and procedures of the avalanche gear then head out for the day.

We can accommodate first-time backcountry skiers with intermediate ski skills on this trip as we don't want them to miss out on the Deep December Powder skiing!

If you are looking for some of the most classic alpine climbs in the Canadian Rockies, I have the perfect trip for you. It will be **3 days to climb Mounts Victoria (3464 m) and Lefroy (3423 m),** two beautiful mountains.

During these days, we will be based in the **Abbot Pass Mountain Hut**, in **Banff National Park**. It’s the birth place of alpinism and guiding in Canada. On the first day, we will start from Lake O’Hara and make our way up to the historical hut. We will spend 2 nights there.

The Hut and the Pass were named after Phillip Abbott, who fell from Mount Lefroy in 1896. The hut was built at the pass to facilitate safer ascents of Mounts Lefroy and Victoria.

On the second day, we will be up very early to attempt Mt. Lefroy (3423 m). The peak lies on the eastern side of Abbot Pass.

Then, on the third day we will ascend the South East ridge of Mt. Victoria (3464 m). It lies on the western side of the pass, on the border between Banff and Yoho National Parks. Also, if conditions allow, we will have the possibility of ascending a third peak, Mt. Huber (3370 m), along our descent back to Lake O’Hara.

Check this 4-day heliskiing trip to a remote, untouched and really exciting area around Bell 2 Lodge, in the Skeena Mountains, British Columbia.

**Bell 2 Lodge is a modern heliski village**, placed where there once was a service station for travelers on their way to Alaska and the Yukon. This resort is 360 km away from Smithers and offers the **comforts of a first class hotel with a rustic touch of the Canadian wild.** A maximum of 35 skiers stay here each week.

Regarding the ski terrain, you’ll find huge glaciated tracks, massive tree runs and everything in between. The choice is almost limitless.

When you arrive to the lodge from Smithers, we will have an informal welcome session. There, we will introduce you to the crew and go over the daily schedule.

Every day, before we start skiing, we will give you an update on the snow and weather conditions and on your group departure time.

We will also train you on the use of ABS Airbag and the electronic avalanche transceiver on the first day and you will have the opportunity of practicing a search. Then you will meet the helicopter pilot and recieve a helicopter safety briefing. The first groups generally leave at around 09.15 am every morning.

There will be small water bottles in the helicopters, but if you have a personal hydration device, we suggest you to bring it with you.

Also note skiing/riding on the last day of our trip usualyy ends at 3pm. If possible, we will do our best to ski or ride more.

**If weather conditions are unfavorable for flying, you can strap on a pair of snowshoes and explore the Bell Irving River Valley.** If you are lucky enough, you may spot a moose, wolf or other animals that frequent this area during the winter season.

Arrive at Calgary International Airport. Travel to Banff National Park with a short introduction hike at Grotto Canyon. This is a hundreds of years old canyon, with high walls and ancient hieroglyphs along the steep rock walls. Settle in and explore the town of Banff.

Cory Pass to Edith Pass hiking traverse. 15km and 900 m elevation gain and loss. As we ascend up and over Cory pass we will enjoy the amazing valley of the Gargoyles on the backside. Then, we will pass under the flanks of Mt Louis. Back to Banff for food and refreshments.

We will leave Lake Louise and head up the Icefields Parkway towards Jasper National Park, hiking up to Helen Lake on the Dolomite Pass circuit. That evening we will arrive at the Rampart Creek Hostel and experience the relaxed living of life in the Rockies.

We will drive a  a short distance to the North, entering Jasper National Park.We will enjoy a _must do_ hike into Wilcox meadows Mt Wilcox ascent, with magnificent views of the world renowned Columbia icefields. We will spend the evening back at the Rampart Creek Hostel.

**If you are looking for a unique heliskiing experience in Canada, join me on this amazing program near Revelstoke, British Columbia. This 5-day program is set out to be your heliskiing experience of a lifetime!**

For this program, we will be staying at the wonderful **Echo Bay Lodge**. This is just the perfect accommodation for an intense heliskiing program. It stands in Solitude Point and overlooks the Columbia River Valley. Located **20 kilometres** from **Revelstoke**, **Eagle pass** is an amazing mountain pass in the **Monashee mountains** of **British Columbia**, **Canada**.
