Description

If you are love mountaineering and are looking for a challenge to the top of a classic, you can’t miss this opportunity to discover Aneto Peak.

Aneto Peak is located in Benasque, in the Spanish province of Huesca. At 3,404 meters above sea level, it is the highest summit in the Pyrenees and belongs to the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park.

If you join me on this program, you’ll  reach the top of this incredible mountain and contemplate its incredible panoramic views.

We have three different options for the ascent. The first two, through the normal route and the north face, take around 12 hours to trek. However,we can also take a route with a stop in a hut which will allow us to spend more time exploring this beautiful peak.

Any of the cases we choose will require prior mountaineering and climbing experience as well as a very good fitness level. During the ascent, we’ll face a significant elevation gain and we’ll need to use crampons in some areas. Of course, I will be there to help you and show you the way.

Does this ascent in the Pyrenees sound exciting? Then send the request to book your place. I’m sure you won’t regret your choice.

Additionally, you can take a look at this ascent that I lead to South Besiberri, another 3,000-meter peak in the Pyrenees.

IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Since a young age I lived surrounded by mountains and walls, out in nature. Mountaineering is part of my life from an early stage.

The search for new horizons and mountains made me discover many exotic destinations. I’ve done climbing and skiing expeditions to the Alps, Turkey, Jordania, Patagonia, Peruvian Andes, the Himalayas (India and Nepal). I’ve also opened new routes, both for rock climbing and for winter alpinism.

I’ve done high performance alpinism awarded by the FEEC (Federació d’Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya). I was member of the Spanish Alpinism Team, the FEDME, from 2006 to 2008.

I became UIAGM mountain guide and canyoning guide to share my passion with all those who love doing activities in the mountains, either a fun canyon, challenging climbs, or white and lonely ski runs in remote mountains.
