Beginning early in the day with some gear review and basic instruction, we will work our way into the more inspiring climbs. I will ensure we have a safe and fulfilling experience, combining practical application with traditional instruction. You can expect to improve and perfect techniques throughout the day, including ice axe and equipment usage, placing screws, setting up belays, and so much more. Then it’s up the ice for a frozen program filled with fun.

Your program is designed to give you a day of thrilling lines and adrenaline-pumping climbs in a beautiful natural setting. Notre Dame de la Gorge is a scenic area that has become the go-to destination for ice climbing in Les Contamines-Montjoie. It offers routes for all levels of climber, though the focus of our program is to build upon your skill set. The ice falls in Sainte Chappelle and La Rosiere are just a couple of options that offer some exciting multi-pitch challenges.

If one day isn’t enough, we can certainly extend your trip into a multi-day affair. With a few days to explore the region, we can even head to Gogne, Italy, and the Armancette Ice Falls, or La Gruvaz ice falls in Switzerland.
