Description

The Cajón de Arenales is a popular rock climbing destination in Argentina. This trip is your chance to explore its amazing vertical walls under expert guidance!

Located in the city of Tunuyán, in the province of Mendoza, the Cajón de Arenales is part of the Cordón Portillo, the frontal mountain range of the Andes. Encompassing impressive varicolored granite formations, it is one of the largest climbing areas in the country.

On this trip you can join me for one or several days for an unforgettable outdoor adventure. Arenales offers spots for every type of climbing: bouldering, sport and trad. We will find both single and multi-pitch routes, with a 5.5 to 5.12+ range of difficulty. There are more than 150 routes to explore, so you will find the perfect one for you!

I recommend this experience for people who want to learn the basics of rock climbing or improve their skills. We will work on knots and different techniques of progression!

Located at 142km from Mendoza City, Arenales is surrounded by a breathtaking alpine landscape. While climbing on stunning vertical walls you will enjoy unforgettable views of crystalline streams and the huge Andes peaks.

So, if you want to discover an awesome rock climbing area near Mendoza, please get in touch with me. Let’s head up some exciting routes in Arenales!

I can also take you to the best crags of Buenos Aires Province. Check that option out here.
