Calling all skiers to Iran! Join a local guide on this 1-week freeride skiing adventure in the Alborz Mountain Range.

The Alborz mountains are located near Iran’s capital city of Tehran, and you will have a chance to sight-see by ski and foot all over the region. And a flight from Europe to Tehran takes between 5 to 6 hours.

We will begin this trip in Tehran and then make our way all over the mountains close by in the week that follows. Whether it be skiing in Dizin —the largest ski resort in Iran—, sightseeing in the Alborz, or taking a tele-cabin to the Tehranian slopes, our local guides can assure you, you will be having the adventure of a lifetime.

 Price does not include: visa support (optional), visa fee, personal ski equipment, meals and drinks during the day in the slopes, insurance.


  • Day 1Airport Pick Up-Dizin

    Pick up from the airport at the south of Tehran and drive directly from the airport to Dizin village (Velayatroud village) at the bottom of Dizin ski slope. This drive will take around 3 hours of drive. Depending on your arrival time and weather condition, you could go for skiing in the slope for the rest of the day or take a rest. Overnight at hotel in Dizin.

  • Day 2 to 3Freeriding in Dizin

    Skiing and freeriding in Dizin and the area around it. Overnight at hotel in Dizin.

  • Day 4Dizin-arbandsar and Shemshak ski area

    If the weather is stable and snow condition is good, you could go from Dizin to Darbandsar through the mountain, while a driver could bring your luggage by car to Darbandsar and Shemshak ski area. Overnight in the hotel (or local house) in Shemshak / Darbandsar

  • Day 5Shemshak or Darbandsar-Tehran

    Ski touring in Shemshak and the area around to the Abak peak (3450m). Drive at the afternoon to Tehran. Overnight in the hotel.

  • Day 6Tochal ski slope

    Taking Tele-Cabin in very northern part of Tehran city to go to Tochal ski slope. This slope is much smaller than the other ones, but it gives you a chance to go to around 3700m by TeleCabin and experience another slope in the area near Tehran. It’s possible to skin up to Tochal peak and ski down to Ahar valley. You could spend the evening in Tehran for sightseeing. Overnight in a hotel in Tehran ( or Tochal hotel on 3700m high depending on condition)

  • Day 7Last Day

    The start point of skiing is the same as last day but the distention is Sharestank in Chaloos road. More than 1300m vertically , 9Km skiing down is the end of tour. Overnight in the hotel in Tehran
