Over the course of our week together, we’ll enjoy some incredible ski touring in the Alborz mountains before making our way up to the summit of the mighty Damavand.
The adventure begins after we meet in Tehran and drive into the mountains. We’ll spend our first evening walking around Reineh, enjoying phenomenal views into the Alborz mountains.
The following day, we’ll head out onto the slopes of some 4,000 meter peaks in the nearby village of Lasem, getting used to the powder conditions and whetting our appetite for what is to come.
The rest of the trip will be spent slowly climbing up to the top of Mount Damavand. After a pre-dawn start on the fifth day, we will finally make it to the summit in order to see the sun rise and enjoy sublime views over the whole of Iran.
After we’ve had out fill of the view, we’ll ski back down the mountain, enjoying plenty of fresh and high-quality powder as we go.
