Get your adrenaline pumping next spring with a 10-day heliskiing adventure in western Greenland.

You will race down 2,000-metre high mountain slopes and through the long, steep fjords of Maniitsoq, Greenland. Due to its remote location, you will enjoy having this pristine island all to yourself.

This trip of a lifetime begins when we meet in Copenhagen. Early the next morning we fly to Maniitsoq via Kangerlussuaq, arriving in mid afternoon. For the duration of your stay in this remote Inuit village you will enjoy very comfortable lodgings in a modern hotel with spectacular views of the surrounding islands, fjords, glaciers and massive icebergs.

The next six days will be full of action since you will be arriving at the time of the year when the sun barely sets. The 20-plus hours of daylight will allow you to ski all day and, with the whole island to see, you will need it.

In May, the glaciers have a stable snow cover and the chances of avalanches are still low. This enables you to be dropped anywhere on the island, exploring the never-ending maze of bays, slopes and fjords afforded by the glacier.

When you are not skiing, there are plenty of other activities in the region of which to take advantage. These include boat excursions, bird and whale watching, fishing and sea kayaking. You will also be able to experience the culture and cuisine of the people native to this harsh environment.

After six days of nonstop action, you catch an early flight back to Copenhagen where you will spend one last night in the cosmopolitan hub before returning home.

Book this trip now if you are up for a challenging six days of heliskiing some of the finest pristine and untouched Arctic wilderness on the planet!
