Join one of the certified guides in the Icelandic Mountain Guides team on this 15-day North Pole cross-country group ski expedition. And enjoy this unique experience before the ice gets too thin to do it!
This 15-day North Pole cross-country group ski expedition is an exclusive adventure that few people have done!
As the climate gets warmer the North Pole ice gets thinner and thinner, so this unique travel won’t be possible in a few years. What a better excuse to get you on the move to make it happen right now!
Plus, to make the trip a safe and comfortable experience we offer an exclusive program with only two participants.
So, we’ll go across an incredible an always changing environment. We’ll go in April, the only period of the year when the sun is above the horizon, but the ice is still thick enough to ski through it.
We’ll start the journey on the island of Svalbard and we’ll train you there for three days. The we’ll take a Russian cargo plane that we’ll take us closer to the North Pole and then we’ll take a helicopter flight. Then we’ll start our Cross-country skiing experience.
We’ll cross country ski with skins attached for over 100 kims. And even though no previous cross country skiing experience is needed, we recommend at least a few days of training before the start of the expedition.
So don’t loose any more time and send us a request to make this North Pole cross-country group ski expedition happen before the ice gets too thin to do it.
