Type of Trip
The Wildspitze, with its 3770 meters, if the highest mountain in Noth Tyrol and the Otztal Alps. Besides, it’s the second highest peak in Austria, after the Grossglockner.
I invite you to join me in this fantastic 2-day ascent. It’s a wonderful summer adventure in the Eastern Alps, ideal for a weekend.
This ascent requires a good preparation and very good physical condition, as we will climb 400 meters per hour. In addition, there is a short climb of difficulty UIAA 1.
The first day is short and we ascend the first section by chairlift. On the second day, upon reaching the top, you will marvel at the breathtaking views!
Did you find this 2-day ascent of Wildspitze tempting? Then please contact me for more information! If you prefer to ski here, I also offer a ski touring trip to the summit.

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
If you decide to cancel, you’ll get a 100% refund (minus fees) if the cancellation is notified up to 60 days before the start of the tour, a 75% refund (minus fees) if you cancel between 59 and 30 days before the start of the tour, and a 50% refund if you cancel between 29 and 21 days before the start of the tour. If you cancel less than 21 days before the first day of the tour, you won’t receive a refund. Take into account, however, that if accommodation, flights or transfers were included in the trip you booked, then a different policy may apply as the guide will be bound by the provider’s cancellation policy.
What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
From Vent in the Otztal we ascend the first part with the chairlift. Then we will go up to the Breslauer Hütte (2844m).

About the Guide
I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide and a climbing lover. I grew up in a small farm in Mittersiller Sonnberg. My parents used to show us the beauty of our mountains. When I was 10 years old I went ski touring for the first time and I really loved it. The next years, I started climbing walls which really fascinated me. I also participated in many competitions.
My career took me to Hohe Tauern National Park where I finished the ranger training to bring visitors to the beauties of my country.
In 2013, I got my official certificate as a mountain guide and ski instructor. A dream came true! Since 2014, I have been working a full time guide, guiding in different areas such as Ortler, Valais, Dolomites, Wilder Kaiser, Muztagh Ata (China)... and of course, in some of our famous mountains such as Großvenediger and Großglockner.
Feel free to get in touch with me! I'll be glad to share with you a great moment in the mountains!
