Highlights

  • Enjoy a 20-day trekking adventure to the top of the Mera Peak.

  • Bask in incredible views from the summit of the biggest peaks in Nepal.

  • Spend your nights in comfortable hotels, guesthouses and camps.

One of the best trekking peaks in all of Nepal, climbing to the top of the beautiful Mera Peak (6,470m) is an adventure you will never forget. And, on this 20-day expedition that is exactly what you will get to do.

Located in a remote part of Khumbu, the Mera Peak is astounding. Furthermore, due to the peak’s remote location, it does not attract the same kind of traffic as the more famous peaks in the area. Thus, providing visitors with a much more tranquil and intimate experience. Perfect for people who enjoy taking in the silence of the majestic Himalayas.

Along with the ascent of the Mera Peak, this trip includes a long list of incredible, memorable highlights, including the famous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. You will also be visiting a number of amazing places throughout this trekking expedition. Examples include Khare, Chutanga, Chetrabuk, Kote and more. And, at the end of each day, you will get to rest for the night in a comfortable hotel, guesthouse or camp.

When it comes to the climb itself to the summit of the Mera Peak, once you get there, the views you will get to enjoy are tremendous. You will get to see some of the most famous peaks in the area, including Mount Everest (8,848m), Makalu (8,463m), Chamlang (7,317m), Cho Oyu (8,201m), Lhotse (8,516m) and many more.

This is a strenuous trip. As a result, participants should have prior experience in climbing and trekking. You should also be in good physical condition.

If you are looking for an incredible trekking and climbing adventure, this 20-day trip to the top of the Mera Peak is for you. To join me, please send a request.

I also offer a 17-day climbing adventure that will take you to the top of Singu Chuli (6,501m).

About the Guide

My name is Rinzin Bhote. I am 45 years old. I live in Chepuwa village, in far Eastern Sankhuwasabha District, Nepal, a very lush and green place. I am married and have 2 children. I have been involved with the trekking world from early on in my life. I have worked through my way first as helper and as Sherpa assistance, until I reached a climbing guide position. In total I have 18 years of experience in climbing and for the last 18 years I have been leading treks and expeditions to several peaks in the Himalayas.

I have been almost everywhere in the Nepalese Himalayas and in some places of the Himalayan region of Tibet and India. I have been in Annapurna and in the Everest region many times. I have climbed Mount Everest two times. Other popular places I have been to are Langtang, Gosaikunda and Helambu. I have led many small and big groups and individual climbers to five of the 8-thousander peaks, like Everest (8848m) Makalu (8485m), ChoOyo , Shisapangma, and Lotshe.

I have spent many days in snow conditions at high altitude areas above 5000 meters, where some clients may experience sickness due to high altitude and I have always been able to handle such situations tactfully and in a safe way. Actually I am always prepared for any eventuality along the climbing.

My first ascents were Shisapanga (8013m) and, ChoOyo (8188m). I have also climbed almost all smaller trekking peaks and 6000m -7000m peaks like Gokyo Ri (5357 m), Yala Peak (5520m), Tharpu Chuli (5663m), Baruntse (7129m), Putha Hiunchuli (7246m), Saribung (6345m), Everest Thamserku (6623m), Mera Peak (6476m), Island Peak (6189m), Pisang Peak (6091), Lobuche (6145m), Kang Guru (6981m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Kanjiroba (6883m), Changla (6721m), Singu Chuli (6501m), among other mountains.

Just contact me and I will take you on a trek or on a great ascent expedition to some of the many Nepalese Himalayas amazing peaks.
