3-day Advanced alpine rock climbing course in British Columbia

  • Perfect for advanced rock climbers who want to tackle alpine routes
  • 2 participants per guide guarantees lots of personalized instruction
  • Put what you learn into practice as we summit a nearby peak or two

This is a perfect course for advanced rock climbers who want to take their skills to the next level in order to begin exploring alpine routes around the world!

In order to ascend terrain that is covered in snow and ice, alpine climbers must master skills and techniques that differ from those regularly used by trad or sport climbers. However, once climbers adapt to alpine terrain, a whole new world of climbing opens up to them. Climbs in the Bugaboos, Baffin Island, all the way down to Patagonia become accessible!

If you’re an advanced rock climber, I’ve designed this popular 3 day course with you in mind. It will build on the knowledge you already have from your past climbing experience, but geared toward alpine systems. With 2 participants per guide, you will receive tons of personalized expert instruction and coaching that will increase your knowledge base even further.

During our time together, you will learn how to place and remove pitons, build safe rappel stations, belay safely in alpine terrain, simul-climb, and more. Plus, you will learn about alpine safety, including rock rescue systems, finding your route, and avoiding hazards. We will spend most of our time in the mountains, as we tackle a nearby peak or two while we practice our new skills, techniques, and abilities. See the day-by-day outline below for more details.

Book this 3 day climbing course now: you will build on the climbing skills you already have so that you can take on mixed and alpine routes safely and successfully!
