Description

Experience the Italian Alps at its fullest on this five-day guided ski tour around the Dolomites. Join me on this amazing Dolomites crossing trip from the Pala group to the Sexten Dolomites enjoying as many downhill slopes as we can possibly fit in five days.

The Dolomites offer beautiful scenic routes and slopes. I’ve prepared an itinerary that will allow us to appreciate most of them while enjoying the beautiful sport of skiing. We’ll start our trip meeting in Sexten and traveling to Passo Rolle to check-into the hotel and have dinner together.

On our first ski day, we will take the Passo Rolle ski lift to reach the Passo di Mulaz where we can enjoy the heart-pumping descent to Falcade. We will spend our second day in Forca Rossa and Malga Ciapela, and descend through Marmolada towards the breathtaking Fedaia Lake. On our third day, we’ll take the lift up to the Porta Vescova and Sass Pordoi. We can also climb to Piz Boè, if the group is interested. We’ll go down through the Val Mezdi and Lagazuoi. Starting the fourth day, we’ll ski down through the Val Travenazes to enjoy the whiteness of Fiames. We’ll spend the night in the charming Malga Ra Stua. And our last day, we’ll relish some of Sexten Dolomites’ most beautiful places skiing around the Auronzo Hut, Lavaredo and Locatelli.

This trip is recommended for experienced skiers and people in good physical shape since the trip includes hikes up to 800 meters.

If you are excited to explore all the amazing slopes that the Dolomites have to offer, send me a request! It’ll be my pleasure to be your guide.

Mountain Guide

IFMGA/UIAGM Guide from Sesto, Italy

For almost 150 years mountain guides from Sesto/Sexten have been taking enthusiastic people on the mountains. Their long-time tradition has seen famous alpinists and legendary first ascents.

We, the new generation of the Alpinschule Sexten – Drei Zinnen, also turned our big passion into our job. The fascination of the mountains urges us all year round onto the local Dolomites and around the globe. With our professional support your time spent on the mountains doubtlessly turns into an unforgettable experience.

I work together with a group of alpine IFMGA guides: Christian, Daniel, Hannes, Joe, Robert, Helmut and Felix. If I'm not available for your request, one of them will guide you!

Our trip with Herbert was fabulous! He was very accommodating, picking us up from our hotel and then dropping us off at the train station. The via ferrata itself was great, we had a blast. Herbert guided us well through the tougher sections. I felt safe and confident the entire time. We would absolutely book Herbert again, and I was very happy with explore-share. Thanks!
