    Itinerary

    • Day 1Rysy (2503 meters)

We will take a traditional horse and cart from the main car park to Morski Oko (1395 meters), this is a fantastic journey and avoids walking the initial non-technical terrain. We will the gain height to reach the first chained section, passing beautiful lakes and amazing vistas. The  scrambling begins, with over 800 meters of fantastic grade 1 scrambling on solid rock.

We will reach Rysy at 2503 meters, sitting on the border of Poland and Slovakia!

    • Day 2Orla Perc/ The Eagles Path

The path was conceived in 1901, the brainchild of Franciszek Nowicki, Polish poet and mountain guide. Additions to mountain have been fixed in place to aid our ascent including: ladders, stepladders, chains and metal steps. The most frequent ground constitutes mainly of granite slab, scree and ridge traversing. We will move safely and slowly, enjoying the atmosphere and the truly unique landscape, an incredible experience.

    • Day 4Rest day
    • Day 5More iconic peaks

Other adventures taking in iconic peaks and routes in the Polish and Slovakian Tatras.

    About the Guide

I love the mountains and the mountain culture. After nearly 15 years of climbing, trekking and snow boarding all over the world. I can honestly say I am at home in the mountains.

In 2012, I set up a company to share this passion with others. We offer unique trips to amazing locations and are the only British company to offer trips such as our "Stubai7Summits" or "Polish Scrambling week".
