Description

Today I am inviting you to a versatile 18-day expedition that combines the best of trekking and climbing in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. We’ll do the Cedros-Alpamayo circuit and then, we’ll reach the summit of the Nevado Ishinca.

The trails on the Cordillera Blanca will surprise you with every new step. We’ll will walk on the surroundings of the Alpamayo Peak, an amazing natural monument in the shape of a rocky pyramid at 5947 meters of height. Actually it has been considered the “most beautiful mountain of the world” by a famous mountaineering magazine since 1996.

During the first part of the adventure we’ll also enjoy other amazing viewpoints like the Huascaran Peak, which is the highest mountain of the region, as well as the Chopicalqui, Pisco and Yanapaccha peaks.

The second stage of the trip will consist in climbing the Nevado Ishinca at 5560 meters of altitude. It is a relatively easy mountain, so we will not need too many technical skills, although it is possible that we have to use some climbing equipment along the way to the summit. Also, conforming we advance on the Ishinca Gorge Valley we will appreciate the flora, fauna and condors of the region in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Cordillera Blanca.

Please find all the details about itinerary at the end of this description. Our starting and ending point will be Huaraz.

So send me your request now and book this trip. Come with me and live a unique mountaineering experience across the Peruvian mountains. You won’t regret!
