Today we are inviting to a versatile 18-day experience that combines trekking and climbing in the marvelous Cordillera Blanca of Peru. The trekking trails will surprise you because we will walk across the Alpamayo Pyramid, an amazing natural monument in the shape of a rocky pyramid at 5.947 meters of height, considered as the “most beautiful mountain of the world” by a famous mountaineering magazine since 1996. During this hike we will also enjoy unforgettable viewpoints like Huascaran (the highest peak of the region), Chopicalqui, Pisco and Yanapaccha peaks and the unique Llanganuco lakes.
Our second stage of this trip will consist in climbing to the Nevado Ishinca at 5.560m. It is an easily accessible mountain so we won’t need technical skills although we may use climbing gears. Among the Ishinca Gorge Valley we can appreciate the flora, fauna and condors of the area and one of the most beautiful views of the entire Cordillera Blanca.
