In the heart of Patagonia, the Baguales Mountain Reserve is an ideal place for backcountry skiing. In fact, it combines virgin forests, open desert, steppes, imposing mountains, deep canyons, valleys and particular rocky summits. And we may spot here the majestic Andes Condor.
Indeed, we can enjoy vast, endless panoramic landscapes. The deep valleys are covered by lenga, an endemic plant. Local fauna and introduced species are very abundant in the area. Besides, migrant birds like this natural reserve with its intact serenity.
The sound of crystalline water running offers a timeless symphony.
The lodge and 3 satellite refuges are 2 hours away from Bariloche. In fact, it’s the ideal starting point to discover this region of the Andes Cordillera. Here we can practice a very wild ski touring. We will ski during 6 days.
The highlights of this trip are:
– the wild beauty of the natural intact landscapes,
– the incredible ski quality,
– the warm welcoming of our Argentinean friends,
– the comfortable accommodation,
– the delicious food and amazing steaks,
– the great quality wine!
Finally, the trip will end with a weekend in vibrant Buenos Aires.

We will stay in a magnificent lodge and very comfortable refuges.
Level: good off-piste skiing skills; we will climb with seal skins 3-5 hours per day.
