Description

Sierra de Guara is undoubtedly the most beautiful canyoning spot in the world! At least in my opinion ;). The water is amazingly clear turquoise, the limestone rock emerges in tormented chaos or in huge cliffs ranging from gray to orange.

Of course the jumps and slides are exciting. In addition, the rocky walls are so high that the corridors they create are almost black. And there will also be swimming in the crystal clear water.

We can leave for 2, 3 or 4 days. The diversity of the canyons makes it possible for me to adapt to the level of the participants. In fact, we can choose different types of canyons, there is something for all levels and tastes.

If you want to go for an easy canyon we can try Final del Mascun, 15 min from Rodellar, an open and sunny canyon with jumps and swimming to reach the Barasil river. Another easy option is Formiga, with jumps up to 7 meters, rocky slides and some abseiling. It is ideal for an initiation.

For intermediate difficulty, we can go to Rio Verro, an incredibly aesthetic canyon, where the descent is not difficult but it is rather long (about 5 hours). We can also go to Oscuros del Balcez, a very narrow canyon that includes swimming, abseiling and incredible jumps.

And if you want to try the harder canyons, Mascun is a prime option. There, we are in for a sporty canyoning day with intense experiences guaranteed. Another or my favourites is Gorgas Negras, a technical and ludic canyon in a breathtaking environment.

The indicated price is for a 2-day trip. We can also leave for longer. - 3 days: 880€ (to be divided by the number of participants) - 4 days: 1200€ (to be divided by the number of participants)

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
