The Cirque de Gavarnie, in Southern France, is a hotspot for ice climbing in the Pyrenees. It offers an authentic playground for all ice climbers. Join me for one or more days in this fantastic setting where we can find routes for different levels. Therefore, whether you are a beginner or have plenty of experience, the perfect terrain is there!
The Pyrenees mountain range, between France and Spain, is a wonderful option if you are looking for ice climbing an outstanding ice climbing destination. The environment, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is unique and well preserved.
Ice climbing is a magical experience which provides extraordinary sensations. Immersed in a cristalized universe, climb with me beautiful walls created by water and cold.
We can go on multi-pitch routes, between Gavarnie and Troumouse. This would actually be a great option if you feel the need to refresh your skills (how to progress, how to get protected…). To access some of the frozen waterfalls, we might have to approach skiing or snowshoeing. Definitely an added bonus!
Interested in exploring the frozen walls of the Cirque de Gavarnie? Then feel free to send me a request, indicating the number of days you are planning for this trip and your level, so we can define the best program together.
