  • Reach the summit of one the most amazing peaks in the Caucasus.

  • Stand at the top of Mount Kazbek, following a local and experienced guide.

  • Enjoy hypnotizing views, and visit enchanting towns in Georgia.

Mount Kazbek is considered one of the most beautiful five thousand meters peaks. This extinct volcano in northern Georgia, bordering Osetia, will dazzle you! So don’t miss this exclusive opportunity and join this 8 days expedition to its summit.

On top of its unrivalled beauty, Mount Kazbek is Gerogia’s third highest mountain. And over our thrilling expedition we will attempt to stand at its top, getting breathtaking views of the Caucasus.

Legends say that Kazbeck is the peak where Prometheus was punished by the gods for stealing fire and giving it to humans. Can you imagine the mesmerizing sceneries this peak offers to have inspired those legends? On this trip, we’ll get the opportunity to admire such hypnotizing sceneries, from day one. But it will be definitely when we reach the summit, when we will get the most incredible views.

Also, we will visit charming cities and towns such as Tbilisi and Stepantsminda. So, on top of the experience of standing at the top of Kazbek, we will get the opportunity to learn about the local culture. We’ll experience the hospitality of the locals, and admire the fascinating architecture. What’s more, we’ll stay at enchanting mountain huts like the AltiHut mountain lodge and the Betlemi Hut, where we’ll also enjoy marvellous views of everything around Kazbeck.

Even though Kazbek is not technically demanding, and we will get enough time for acclimatization, I recommend to have previous experiences with alpine tourism and a good physical fitness level.

Moreover, I can arrange this program for a private group, or you can join one of the dates in which I will be guiding a group already.

So if you are up for this mountaineering adventure, don’t hesitate. Request to book this trip, and live an unforgettable trip in Georgia.

About the guide

guide profile img

I am a UIMLA mountain leader and a rock climbing instructor based in Brno, Czech Republic.

I started climbing in 2000 on an artificial wall in my hometown, Lipník nad Bečvou, near the Sudetes Mountain Range. Then I discovered the natural rock cliffs that surrounded me and I never stop exploring new territory. I also like to try via ferrata routes with my clients. During winter I don’t like to stay still, so I go out for Ice climbing routes.

I graduated as a UIMLA International Mountain Leader and rock climbing instructor both on natural and artificial walls, so I’m fully prepared to take you wherever you want to go.
