Corcovado National Park is located on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica and is known for its astounding biodiversity. In fact, there is no other place of its size on earth that is more biodiverse.
Hiking through this extraordinary place you can encounter striking scarlet macaws, curious monkeys, jaguars, tree frogs, tapirs, iguanas, and many more incredible animal species.
You can also marvel at the lush plant life. Jungles, unlike rainforests, have thick undergrowth. The reason for this is that rainforests have canopies which block out light and prevent the growth of plants on the ground, while jungles don’t have canopies so more light enters.
Hiking in the Corcovado National Park is a trip that every adventurer dreams of, and this trip is extra special because it’s a 3-day journey that allows you to be totally immersed in the park. You can check out the lagoon which lies in the center of the park and the beautiful sandy coastline, and at night we’ll rest in cozy cabins.
