Highlights

  • Extraordinary ski touring and outstanding landscapes.

  • Arranged transfers and comfortable movement on the mountain.

This 6-day ski touring traverse in the Haute Route des Ecrins is a true altitude cruise. Join me on this beautiful trip between the Earth and the sky.

It will be a trip from hut to hut in the heart of the stunning Ecrins massif. Indeed, this is the type of trip that I love planning and sharing.

This ski touring traverse is rather technical. Besides, the beauty of the itineraries between La Meije and Dome des Ecrins can rarely be found elsewhere. Passes, summits and long descents will be in the program during our immersion in the massif.

And the ascent of Dome des Ecrins is the cherry on top of this unforgettable ski tour.

I hold this massif in my heart, and I would love sharing the experience with you. Breathtaking landscapes are waiting for us!

Do you find this ski touring traverse tempting? Then I invite you to send me a request. Book your trip and let’s start planning this great trip.

Another ski touring traverse that I love is this one in the Dolomites, check it out!

I was disappointed. I was slower than the rest of the group reaching Tete Rousse, and the guide discouraged me from going to Gouter. I had a slight ankle sprain the day before which slowed my ascent. I recovered 95% the day after. My complaint: when I decided to go for a second guided attempt, at a slower pace, I received no help in securing a guide, or a reservation at Gouter. The online reservation showed fully booked both for Rousse and Gouter. But I know that there were lots of empty bunks at Rousse, and I suspect the same at Gouter. I received sympathy, but only as a formality. Initially I had sought a single dedicated guide, but I was encouraged to join a group. I did not get a choice.I should have known better, I knew my pace would be a bit slower, but I counted on your support and understanding. I got neither. I was on my own with no help.
