A week based in Lanjarón, Spain’s famous spa town during which we offer the opportunity to walk amongst the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountain range, still to be discovered by many British walkers. Early summer offers good settled weather, but not too hot, and an ideal time to enjoy mountain walking at its best.
Group size: up to 8 people
Typical walk: 12km, 800m ascent (1 day 15km with 1110m of ascent)
The hotel is decorated in a modern moorish style and most rooms have views looking out towards the castle. Facilities include a swimming pool, small spa bath and gym. The restaurant has a good reputation, and is able to cater for vegetarian and gluten free diets.
Rooms at the Alcadima are large and well equipped with cable television, radio / alarm clock, tea / coffee making facility, hair drier in the bathroom and refrigerator. Most have a balcony or view over the pool and castle.
