Family-friendly hut-to-hut hike in the Cobb Valley, Kahurangi National Park (2 days)

The Kahurangi National Park in New Zealand is an amazing place to explore. And it is our pleasure, for 2-days, to guide you on a hiking tour within the park, in the stunning Cobb Valley.

This tour is very family friendly. So, if you are looking for an adventure in New Zealand that you can involve the kids, this hike is perfect.

Our trek will take you to several different huts within the Kahurangi National Park. Those huts include the Trilobite hut, the Cobb hut and the Fanella hut. All of these huts are very comfortable and will provide you with all you will need for a pleasant night’s rest.

The total length of our route is approximately 13 kilometers, and can be done at a pace as leisurely as you would like. Thus giving you plenty of time to take in the spectacular natural beauty of the Kahurangi National Park. And there is definitely a lot to see. From beautiful peaks like Kakapo (1,783m) to other great highlights like the Cobb Dam and much more.

Since this is a family-friendly hiking trip, no prior experience is necessary. However, participants on this trip should be in good physical condition.
