La Punta Velluda is located in one of the places nearest to Mount Fitz Roy. It is the last camp used by climbers before the ascension of the Mt. Fitz Roy. It has that unique name due to the amount of lichens found on its summit. This mount also has an unique view of the “laguna sucia” and glaciers “White River”, “the Three” and “Piedras Blancas”
This 3 day trip is perfect for those who want to be amazed by beeing part of this alpine experience and also want a challenging adventure. It’s essential to do this ascention with an experienced mountain guide because of its difficulty and skill requirements.

Climb to Laguna de los Tres, which bordered on the right bank of climbing some steps of 3 °, to reach the base of the glacier. Once on the glacier, we rope up and climb to Paso Superior.
