This Guided scrambling program in High Tatras’ secret spots combines the hiking experience with a bit of climbing adrenaline to make it more exciting!
The High Tatras are a beautiful mountain area in Slovakia, with many trails and spots to visit. But in summer it can get a little bit crowded. That’s why I’ve created this program, for those of you nature lovers who enjoy the silence and quietness of the outdoors and prefer not to share it with many more!
I know the area like the back of my hand, so I always choose the places where I can guarantee that we won’t meet anybody!
But to get to this special places we’ll have to hike and use our hands in a small climbing experience. Sometimes we’ll even have to use rope. So it’ll be an exciting adventure with the main objective of spending some nice time out in the nature.
Plus, during the journey I’ll tell you about the history of the Tatras mountain range and its environment.
So send me a request for this Guided scrambling program in the most remote spots of the High Tatras and we’ll start organizing your next adventure. I’ll provide all the necessary technical equipment so you’ll only have to worry about enjoying yourself!

What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
About the Guide
I was born in 1965 in Košice, Slovakia. Most of my life I lived in Spišská Nová Ves, with the High Tatras and Slovak Paradise National Parks nearby. As a teenager I started exploring and loving the mountains. Although my parents didn't share my passion, they approved it. Actually, at the age of 68 my mother decided to climb Gerlach (2655 m) with me as her guide!
I am an IFMGA certified guide. Besides, I am a member of the Adventure Consultants team in New Zealand.
Some of the places where I am used to climbing are the High Tatras, the Alps, the Dolomites, the Rockies, the South American Andes, Himalayas, Pamir and in New Zealand.
My Extremes: The highest peak I reached is Cho Oyu at 8201 m (Himalayas). The hardest rocky route I've taken is The Nose (El Capitan Yosemite), and the best ice route was The Weeping Wall (Rocky Mountains). The best ski touring traverse I've done is the Main ridge of Low Tatras, and my favourite extreme skiing experience was in the Lomnický štít peak through Cmiter.
I currently live in Štôla, under our beloved Tatra mountains, with my wife and children.
