Half-day Ra Bujela via ferrata near Cortina d’Ampezzo

This Via Ferrata is also known as Maria and Andrea Ferrari. And it is one of the most exciting ones. As we will be able to reach steep points thanks to the help of set pegs, two walkaways and steel ropes.

Due to some exposed sections, the first part of this Via Ferrata is the most demanding. However, the difficulties ease off, once we reach the first bridge. Then, we’ll get to the second walkaway where we’ll encounter a path developing on the crest. Here, we will also notice the quality of the rock will diminish. But, this doesn’t mean the safety our ascent is compromised. As we will follow all the rules necessary rules to ensure you are safe. Also, it is at this point where we’ll get the best views of the Dolomites.

After crossing the two bridges and passing some steel pegs, the route continues holding on to a 370 meters steel cable. The last meters pf the rouate are where the cable forks off. So, we just have to keep following it up on the right side all the way to the top. Finally, we’ll descend through the same path. We’ll follow the fork on the left side. And this will lead us to an enchanting area of meadows right below the tower.
