Description

I am the fourth ranked FWQ skier in Japan. To reach that level I have spent countless hours practicing and practicing on many different slopes. However some of my favorite slopes are in the gorgeous Hakuba valley. And it is in the valley where, for a half day, I would like to offer you the chance to ski with me on those same slopes.

The slopes of Hakuba are as deep and plentiful as they are fun and exciting. And because of my experience skiing in the area, I will be able to suggest to you the perfect spots to enjoy based on your skill level and the kind of skiing experience you want to have.

One area in particular that I enjoy the most is the Otari area. This area is in the north of the Hakuba valley and is home to some fantastic skiing spots.

Since this trip is more about enjoying a skiing experience with a freeride world qualifier skier than learning about skiing itself, it is important that participants are already experienced. In fact, you should be able to ski at a minimum intermediate level.

The Hakuba valley in Japan is home to some of the best skiing spots in the country. And for a few hours, I would like to give you the chance to enjoy some of those spots with somebody who has spent a long time skiing on them. If you would like to join me, just send a request.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip.
Participant will need to have appropriate insurance coverage (including skiing and snowboarding).

Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

I am based near the Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort in Japan and run a guesthouse there while doing my ski training.

At the Freeride World Qualifier in Hakuba last year, I finished 6th. Every day, I train in order to reach a higher ranking in my upcoming competitions.

I aspire to run a fun, relaxed freeriding session so that people of all levels can enjoy the experience. I look forward to riding with you!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
