Half-day Whitewater rafting adventure in Browns Canyon, near Vail

From absolute beginners to experienced enthusiasts, if you join me on this half-day whitewater rafting experience I promise it will be one of the most memorable and fun experiences imaginable, as we navigate our way through thundering rapids past majestic peaks, vast and open canyons and gorgeous wildlife, all in the spectacular and amazing locale of Browns Canyon, near Vail, Colorado.

Browns Canyon is located near the pretty little town of Vail, in Colorado, a well-known adventure playground for people all-year-round, and also home to a number of festivals throughout the year. This reputation and its easy access to the waterways nearby make it a perfect whitewater rafting place.

We will meet in the morning to dispense safety information and equipment, before heading out rafting in earnest.

Over the course of the 10-mile journey we will snake our way around some truly captivating and beguiling scenery, as the towering Collegiate Peaks look down high above us as we raft through peaceful, tranquil and isolated canyons, the rocky facades lined with trees, making for some excellent photo opportunities.

The rapids are fun and challenging (but not too much), meaning people of all levels of ability can join in, and we can go to some of the more famous ones such as Zoom Flume, Big Drop and the Toilet Bowl.

For those that are exhausted from all the rafting, there will also be opportunities to have a relaxing and refreshing swim to cool off, and also to observe and marvel at the local wildlife.

After three awesome hours of rafting fun, we finish the activity having whetted your appetite for more whitewater rafting and more desire to explore Colorado.
