There are countless ski touring trips in the Alps. However, few, if any, are as extensive and far reaching as the Haute Route. This incredible route, first taken on skis in 1911, stretches over 180 kilometers.

The Haute Route begins in Chamonix, France and continues on to Zermatt, Switzerland. Thus adding an international aspect to the trip. You will also be travelling from one incredible peak to another. Those peaks being the famed Mont Blanc (4,808m) and the Matterhorn (4,478m). The glory of this trip however does not rest solely with those amazing peaks. And that’s because you will be able to see several of the greatest peaks in the Alps every single day of the journey.

Along with the peaks you will see, from the Dent d’Herens and the Tete Blanche, along with so many more, you will also get to see amazing villages and huts scattered throughout the route. Some examples are the Trient hut and village, the Zinal village, and the Dix hut.

A true classic, the Haute Route does have some difficult parts, but it is not exclusive to skiing experts. So as long as you have some experience and are in good physical condition, you can enjoy this unforgettable trip.

The Haute Route is arguably the most famous ski tour in the world. All who wish to enjoy the best ski tours dream of the day they get to enjoy it. And on this trip, you will get to do just that. All I want to do is help guide you through it, so you can reach the end of it safe and satisfied. Please message me if you are interested.

And if you are with your children, and you want to do something more family oriented, I also offer a ski touring adventure in the mountains of Austria.
