Highlights

Planning your skiing trip to British Columbia this winter? Join me for a heliskiing day in the Kootenays area, away from the crowded ski resorts. For this exciting day, we will fly to remote areas in the backcountry and enjoy unique powder conditions, diverse terrain and deep snow.

On this program, we will visit exclusive areas around Nelson and Kaslo BC. This area offers a great variety and number of options. My focus will always be to help you maximize your day and skiing experience.

First of all, I will meet you on the evening before to go over your equipment. Next day, we will typically begin 7.30am and transfer to the selected heli area, usually not more than an hour away. After that, we have a brief heli briefing and fly into the backcountry. On this program, we will go on at least 4 descents, plus 3 intense skiing ascents (5,000 ft. / 1,500 m.).

To join me on this tour, you will need to have an Intermediate to Advanced ski touring level. You will also need previous backcountry skiing experience.

Finally, all helicopter charges will be split up among the group members (see details below); and all group safety equipment is included.
